Rich Jagunic - Director, Rocket Boys, Miss Nelson

        Rich is returning to Theatre West Virginia for his 18th season as director for TWV’s hit musicals. In the past, he has helmed Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Fiddler On the Roof, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Anything Goes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Footloose, All Shook Up and Annie.

        Rich graduated from Miami University with a degree in Speech and Theatre. He has directed the Ohio outdoor drama Trumpet in the Land as well as their production of Godspell. He is a writer and actor for Mr. E productions, an interactive murder mystery business. He has been technical director and/or designer for Cleveland’s Berea Summer Theatre, and Carousel Dinner Theatre. He has designed set or lights for Akron Children’s Theatre, Magical Theatre Company, and Ohio Outdoor Drama Association. He has directed the TWV acting company touring productions for several years, including The Main Street Kids' Club, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, and A Year With Frog and Toad.


He has received the OCTA excellence in design award for costumes (Hello Dolly) and excellence in directing (Side by Side by Sondheim, Joseph…, Drowsy Chaperone). He has worked on staff for the Canton Players Guild, and also directed their productions of Jerry’s Girls and A Christmas Carol (Steve Parsons/John Popa). Directing productions throughout eastern Ohio, Rich’s credits include The Will Rogers Follies, Grand Hotel, Greater Tuna, The Boys Next Door, Lucky Stiff, and Seussical.
